Apologies for being behind on the release of Humbug Roam, but we are taping tonight again - a special post-4th of July tribute to America, with an emphasis on travel and our other focuses of interest.
We will be taping the newest episode of Humbug Roam tonight, with a focus on another major area of the Midwest. Should be up on iTunes in a couple weeks. If you have not subscribed yet, please do - and make sure to check out our episodes already up!
Pleased to say that you may now listen to (and download) Humbug Roam on iTunes! The only episode up right now is Episode 2, and the parts are out of order, so please read episode titles carefully. We'll get it right next time!
All four parts of Episode 2 are up. Episode 1 was our laboratory for learning and needs a lot of work. Stay tuned!
After a years-long hiatus of the project, I am starting to get back on track with developing contacts for the photo series, Beekeepers of the Subarctic. My target subject areas are Alaska, Canada, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and I expect the project to take about two years once initiated. I hope to complete the first shots this coming fall/winter, in Alaska and Canada. So if there was ever a time to reach out to your subarctic beekeeping friends and have them contact me, this would be it. (I imagine the phone will be ringing off the hook any minute now...)
I am potentially going to be speaking twice in the NYC area in the upcoming end of spring/early summer. Pending final date and location, I will likely be doing a presentation of my talk Poverty: Lessons Learned from Photography to the meetup attendees of the New York Effective Altruism group. Likewise, I may be doing a presentation on lighting in photography...details to come once I work out the specifics with the group commissioning it. Both events will be open to the public, I believe. Stay tuned!
Upcoming Speaking Dates
Wed, Feb 17 - Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland
